Yes it was the oil pump driveshaft that threw off my timing/sync with the fuel and spark. So far i got abit of issue with the truck far as it running but still working on it
Say what??? That is something they should be able to do in the programming. If they can't...... they just dropped a notch or three on my "good guys" list.

+1 more on dropping a notch (no pun intended). The PCM should determine where the crank is, and advance or retard should be a PCM function as needed. I suspect fuel synch....a second opinion may be needed.
I did slot the crankshaft position sensor and far as i can tell i didnt really change much. But before we all jump the gun here I slotted the sensor about a 1/8 of a inch away from the edge of the metal do i have to go farther or is that enough..?
well far as a update goes the truck runs better but when I go about 20-25 it kinda makes a cold diesel sound before they kick down. Its really hard to discribed the sound it makes, it does effect the motors performance far as I can tell b/c I really don't care to wreck the dam thing so any thoughts to what could be the problem.
