1997 ram ss/t
 

Hi guys, I was at a local cruise in/car show with my dad last weekend and i spotted a 97 ram ss/t in the parking lot. i left a note on it, "if you want to sell your truck give me a call" etc, and the guy called me a couple days later. he said he was the original owner, and he wants to get rid of it because his wife doesnt like driving it if she has to. he said he was going to trade it in, and the dealer offered him $4500 for it, but he didnt take it because they wouldnt deal on the new car. he told me he had to talk to his wife about it and he would call me back. if i remember correctly he said it had something like 190K miles on it. what would be a fair price to offer on it? overall its in pretty good shape from what i can tell, its a running and driving truck. i just joined the forums BTW, but ive been reading them for a few months now.

Pictures would help. But if its in good shape, $4500 might not be too bad for an ss/t. Start thinking about things like transmissions and motor freshening with those kinds of miles though...

A guy is selling one in my area for 3 k I would keep looking
