weird cranking issue

positive coil wire was shorted somewhere. I ran new wires with a newer style plug and coil from a 01. The cheap junk rotor i had in there ruined the coil point in the dizzy cap as well. I cleaned up all the plugs with some carb cleaner and tried to route the wires per the TSB but no pictures were in the thread i saw. It still as a miss but it will fire right up and hold an idle nice and smooth. Though when i first started it it held idle at about 700 rpm which is right where i would expect it to be and the last time i ran it it held idle at 1100 rpm.

Thanks alot! Just the info I was looking for. Maybe if I reroute them my miss will go away. I just need to go to the junkyard and grab some wire clips.
