HELP! Replaced waterpump and now truck stalls
I have a 2000 Dodge ram 1500 5.9 with 150,000 miles on it. I just replaced the water pump and idled it for about 20 minutes and it ran fine. I then drove it 4 miles to work and home after work and it ran fine. Let it sit for about an hour and went to back up, gave it a little throttle, let off and it stalled. I started it back up and tried again, it stalled. Every time i let off the throttle it stalled. What could be the problem? Thanks

unplug and replug the electrical connectors for TPS (drivers side of throttle body) and IAC (rear of throttle body).
then reset computer by disconnecting neg. battery cable and turning on headlights for 30 seconds (drains capacitors that hold memory). reconnect and restart. welcome to df. |

Before you do that I would reset the computer like the mentioned above before dropping $100 on a battery. |
Sounds like a battery to me. Will it run with jumper cables?
