Default Fuel sync tsb?

Does anyone have a pdf or a tsb online I can print out over fuel sync? I took my 99 ram to the shop to have a distributor replaced as the ear was broken off and the cap was zip tied on. But the shop I took it too didn’t set the sync so now it bucks while cruising or coming from a stop. I asked him about it and he had never heard of it so he doesn’t think it needs to be looked into. Trying to find something I can take in with me basically.

If the shop has a decent scanner, it'll take 'em about five minutes to properly set sync. Thing is, YOU need a fairly high-zoot scanner to be able to even read fuel sync...... The parts store fellers simply won't do it.

CHECKING ilSTRIBUTOR POSITION
To verify correct distributor rotational position,
connect the DRB scan tool to the data link connector.
The data link connector is located in the engine compartment.
Gain access to the SET SYNC screen on
the DRB.
W A R N I N G : W H E N P E R F O R M I N G T H E F O L L O W I NG
T E S T , T H E E N G I N E W I L L B E R U N N I N G . B E C A R E F
U L NOT TO STAND IN L I N E WITH T H E FAN
B L A D E S O R FAN BELT. DO NOT W E A R L O O SE
C L O T H I N G .
Follow the directions on the DRB screen and start
the engine. With the engine running, the words IN
RANGE should appear on the screen along with 0°.
This indicates correct distributor position.
If a plus (+) or a minus (-) is displayed next to the
degree number, and/or the degree displayed is not
zero, loosen but do not remove the distributor holddown
clamp bolt. Rotate the distributor until IN
RANGE appears on the screen. Continue to rotate
the distributor until achieving as close to 0° as possible.
After adjustment, tighten clamp bolt to 22.5
N-m (200 in. lbs.) torque.
The degree scale on the SET SYNC screen of the
DRB is referring to fuel synchronization only. It is
not referring to ignition timing. Because of this,
do not attempt to adjust ignition timing using this
method. Rotating the distributor will have no effect
on ignition timing. All ignition timing values are controlled
by the powertrain control module (PCM).

This is from the 95 manual. Fuel sync in simple terms is timing the fuel injectors. Your truck is bucking because the injectors are firing at the wrong time.

crappy thing is when you take it in to a shop most shops don’t sell 5 minutes of time. I’ve took my dodge in an 2 Tahoe’s an each time had to pay for the “ whole hour”
