Default Aftermarket Tow Mirrors

Anybody installed a set? I put a set of manual tow mirrors on a '96 2500 I had years ago but my current 2000 model has heated power mirrors. I found a set that heat/power with the gen 4 style glass and even has power fold and a built in side marker light but the fold and light has to be wired in. https://www.1aauto.com/2000-dodge-ra...c/2000-1463-23

They also have them without the power fold and have the gen 2 an d 3 style glass in a power heated with the marker light.

I installed a set on my truck a few months back. Mine is a 99 with power and heated mirrors. I bought the pair off eBay for like $115 and was a little skeptical. When I received them. Was surprised. They are good quality and seem like they will hold up. The power and heat functions work great. They are manual fold and I have to manually rotate them to the tow mode but I can't complain too much since that wasn't an option for 99. They plugged right in and mounted easily. The mirrors are quite a bit larger than stock and I love that. I only had to rotate them up 1 time to pull a trailer and it was way better than towing with the stock ones. I normally keep them down since I think tow mirrors up with no trailer is stupid and lame.

If you order a pair, Make sure you get the mounting bracket with them! I got the bracket with mine and installed it and they don't shake at all while driving. These mirrors are quite a bit heavier than the stock ones so the bracket is a must.

the 2nd and 3rd gen tow mirrors with the spot mirror in the corner aren't that bad when folded in. The 4th gen with the spot mirror being a bar at the outer edge are a little hard to see anything using the spot mirror while folded in. The spot mirror on those is actually a heck of a lot more functional with them folded out, it puts the spot mirror across the bottom in that position.
