Please Help
I installed a clutch kit and new slave cylinder in my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L V8. I replaced it because the slave failed while shifting into 5th gear on the free way resulting in the clutch going to the floor......After the work was completed and the process of bleeding the new slave was done the clutch pedal still felt soft and on the floor.....I was able to drive the vehicle and shift gears fine however the truck would lurch when starting out in forward or reverse. Two days later while driving the vehicle on the freeway I was unable to press the clutch in at all.......I did not try to force the pedal but did give it some pressure to see if it would move but it doesnt......Can anyone help me figure out why this could be happening

Welcome to DF ;) +1 on heading over to the 2nd gem ram section. And please, if it's not already too late, don't name your thread title "please help" . Thanks :)

I believe the ram truck, you can replace the slave with a master cylinder too. So you shouldn't need to bleed the system. I will move your post to the 2nd gen ram section for you.
