Default Tranny Help 1-2-1-1-1-2-3-4-od

I have a 2001 Ram 1500 4x4 with a magnum V-8. When I give it a little gas it shifts from 1st to 2nd ok. As im trying to build up speed its kicks down to 1st. It wants to do this in 3rd if I give it to much gas. Anyone ever have any problems like this? Its not throwing any codes and the check engin light is not on.......................

May need to adjust the TV cable. Download the manual in the FAQ section. Welcome to DF!

+1... Make sure the cable is connected at both ends first. Then try adjusting it . Factory adjustment can be found in this thread. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...-in-trans.html
