Default Superchips 3815 or 3865 with a M/T

So, I finally looked at my PCM after being disgusted with what I think should be a better performing engine, and found a factory death flash (10/98 software update). The plenum was apparently fixed by the PO because I've done the magnet test and it doesn't stick. It now has a CAI, headers, and single to dual muffler. I don't plan on any more mods, so the superchips should be fine (for you SCT pushers). From what I've read on here, the 3865 is better because of the trans shift programming only. Since I have a NV3500, will I be just as good performance wise to go with the 3815? Also, do they both correct for tire size? Thanks.

After looking more, I think the old 3715 would work just fine. I used one a while back on a 2000 dakota 4.7 and it worked well.
