Wanting to add serious Performance to my 5.9 360 C.I V8 !!!
I am looking to build a 5.9 360 for my 2002 Ram 4x4. I want heads, cam, intake, rods, pistons. What is the best resource for these? Summit and Jegs just do not offer much for the 360 as far as performance. Any insight would be helpful. I have been out of the engine rebuilding game far too long and dont want to pay someone else too build this one and just dont know where too look for quality MOPAR Performance parts any longer. I am wanting to stay lower compression(9:1 at most 9.5:1) as I may build a custom bracket to run my P1-SC pro-charger and meth injection off of my mustang (mustang now has 98 trim turbo and is running on 110 octane and a 200 shot of nitrous). Also, Have a set of 3/8 stud mount 1.6:1 rocker arms from a chevy build i did about 5 years ago that i would like to use (if possible). THANKS FOR THE HELP !!!!!

2001 may be a better choice.
And I highly doubt the Chevy parts will work. Likely better off selling them and putting them towards Harland Sharp 1.7 RR's. Since it sounds like you want to boost, you're going to need a Mopar M1 or Hughes AirGap intake manifold and an SCT tuner just for starters.
And of course the supporting mods that go with it.
Also, if you dig through this thread:

You'll find some information that you can use.

On the edlebrock installation sheet they list two part numbers for roller rockers. Both are for small block chevys with a 1.6 ratio. One is a comp cams and one is a crane cams brand. It seems as though the comps have been discontinued but go to hughes engine's website. they have full roller rockers on their site for the edlebrocks that are rockers and nuts. The edlebrocks already come with guide plate and drilled and tapped 3/8-24. these recommended parts lead me to believe that 1.6 chevy rockers will work.

Especially when that's the classic bottleneck for air flow... you can bolt-on a TB, Intake, Headers and exhaust, but the valves are the restriction... go for the 1.7 H&S, as they're about the max you can go without having to replace valve springs, and having other interference issues... it will allow it to breath better, without having to do the cam.
If you're doing a cam, then a lower ratio would be appropriate.

Depends on how strange he gets on the rebuild. As he is talking the entire rotating assembly..... I don't think changing the cam is out of the question at all.
As for the rest.... if you wanna build some REAL power, and are looking to replace the rotating assembly in any event, why not go 408? You would definitely want to go with a different intake if you went that route.... M1's are getting hard to find, Hughes Air Gap is still available though.
Chevy rockers fit? Really? That IS interesting.... I have a set of rollers for a chevy motor, but, they are 1.5 ratio..... a step back in performance... Ooops. May have to list them on craigslist.
