I would like to know if a 1999 242 cu.in. inline 6 cyc. will bolt right into a 1995 dodge ram 1500 pickup truck using the trans from the pickup

Nope. Bolt patterns are completely different.

what engine is in your 95? its best to just replace it with the same thing.
KEEP the intake and all sensors from your 95. you can use an engine of the same size from 94-01, but will need to put your old intake on anything other than an 94-95.
