Question backfiring

hi all, my 2001 dodge ram van backfires whenever it wants tuned with plugs wire etc 6 months ago was much better starting to backfire on acceleration more often again. seems to get a little better with hess gas only and fuel injection cleaner. also seems to backfire more beginning of day and hooter weather , i don;t know. Could it be water in fuel or heat messing up spark plug wires? does anyone have an idea? Thanks from the mechanic waanabe

Check the plenum. Could be a clogging cat.
