4WD Light won't come on?
 

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500,
I replaced the 4WD actuator , actuator housing and the switch on the actuator , my 4WD now engages fine.
Yet my 4WD light on my dash still doesn't come on when shifted into 4WD.
Any suggestions?

Could be the bulb in the dash, but I would pull the switch and bench test it with a dvm make sure its working, then check the wiring going to the switch for proper volts.

first locate the contact switch on the end of the cad. 2 wire electrical connector. unplug it and clean out the mud, dirt, sand, salt, and grease. spray it out with wd40. if you jumper those 2 pins, with ignition on, the 4wd light should illuminate. this tests the wires and bulb. then test the contact switch, then dig into the cad.
