Default swaping a bad 96 v10 for a good 95 v10 will it work

I have a 96 3500 with a bad v10 and a wrecked 95 2500 with a good v10. How hard is it to make the change over

So far as I know, the engines are EXACTLY the same. Just swap all the sensors, so you stick with the correct year for the PCM. Should bolt right in, hook right up, and work just fine.

They are not exactly the same. You will need your 96 intake manifold, injectors and fuel rail as the OBDII '96 engine has no EGR setup and the injectors are different. Dr.Injector in Sacramento can rebuild and flow match your injectors w/ a fast turnaround, I'd do it to avoid running troubles or gas washed cylinder walls. 10 injectors is a lot of opportunity for problems. My opinion. There is an ignition control module for the V-10 that is just behind the radiator bottle that is 94-95 only. If you have this and want to sell it I will buy it.
