Should I have a key fob?

I have a 1999 1500, it has power locks, would this have come with a key fob to lock/unlock the doors? The handbook kind of suggests it would of.
Thanks.

Is your truck a Laramie ?. When I got my 2000 1500 Laramie it came with two regular keys, and to buy a new key fob from the dealer is $80.00, and another $40.00 to have it programed. So I will just stay with the regular keys for now.

Order a build sheet from Dodge. Just because you have power locks doesn't mean your truck came with keyless.

Thanks guys, sent for the build sheet.

Ram Driver, yes, it's a SLT Laramie.

That was quick, just received the build sheet.

Just says "Power Locks" no mention of fobs, I'll maybe pop in to the dealer and see what they say ($$$).
