46RH to 47RH differences

Neighbor has a 1994 halfton 360 Auto 4x4. Trans is completely toast barely moves forward no reverse gears. He is wanting me to either buy it from him or fix it for him. I can get a rebuild kit for $250 and have serviced AG powershift transmissions so I feel I have the ability to do it but wondering if I could swap in a decent 47RH I have at my house already.

The 47RH is removed from a 95 2500 4x4 V10.

What all will be needed to do the swap if its even possible? I have access to the complete V10 truck if I need to parts off the V10 motor.

To my understanding, the case of the 47RH will not bolt-up to a 5.9/360 gas motor, however, I believe some of the internal parts from the 47RH can be used inside a 46RH to make it stronger, such as the planetaries, drums, shaft, etc.

Bellhousing is bigger and about 4" longer externally...

That already sets you back a custom adapter plate ($1000+), starter, flywheel, and custom driveshafts :D
