brakes issue

I've got a 98 dodge club cb with the 318. Just redid the rear junction brake box and the brakes a still soft. We've bled the brakes and they still are soft, are we missing something to bleed?

A soft brake pedal is caused by air in the system or a brake hose that is expanding. What method are you using to bleed them? You should start by bleeding the wheel farthest from the mater cylinder... rear right to rear left to front right to front left. To check for an expanding hose, wrap your hand around the hose then have someone step on the brakes really hard a few times. If you can see the line expand or can feel it stretching allot it needs to be replaced. also if the pedal is low then you need to turn the rear adjusters.

About 90 percent of the lines have been replaced. There's no soft lines now and we bled the master cylinder. Now I'm thinking I need to replace the rear wheel cylinders. Thankfully those aren't very cheap.

If you pull back the boots on the wheel cylinders and they soaked or dripping, then they are definitely the problem... You can rebuild them but at 3-6 dollars a pop its kind of pointless... There is a chance if you let the rear line run dry that air got into the abs actuator. I hope this solves your problem.
