Kegger bypass hose fitting...R&R help

Hi,

I have been trying to figure out how to remove my leaking bypass fitting. I also need to know where to get a new one.

Thanks, this thing has me stumped.:icon_nut:

Its just a pipe fitting. Should come out with a pipe wrench.

Is it damaged? Leaking around the threads?

Diggin' the blue! Kegger is pretty friggin clean too!

Thanks stewie and HeyYou, yes, it has weeped some out of the threads. I can't get a pipe wrench on it and was hoping there was either a tool or a trick to get a good enough grip on it to turn it. It's tight.

heat and the right size 6 point combo wrench.

Nope. Nothing for the wrench to grab, it's round.

I'll drill a hole through it tomorrow and stick a big screwdriver in it, that ought to work.

I think the round fittings (without a hex) are slotted on the end... OK for insertion, but by the times they're up for removal, it doesn't help.

Maybe a large easyout will get it?

I don't have an easy out that large. Yes, installation when new is no problem. After time, corrosion and thousands of heat cycles, mine seems nearly impossible to get out. Just like the 2 broken front intake manifold bolts.

In a bit I'll go drill a hole through it...Indycar qualifying at Indy has me sidetracked.

Screwdriver should get it.

Those are some damn sexy fuel rails
