Piston question
I'm in the process of rebuilding my 360. Looking at pistons, I found a set of speed pro flat tops that I want to get. But it doesn't specify if they are for a magnum or an la block. Does it matter? Can you run a piston advertised to be for an la block in a magnum block

Bore and stroke are the same, so, I suspect that the pistons will be interchangeable... Still, I would call whomever you are thinking of ordering from, and verify that.

Yes, they are the same, however, be careful of the compression height. Unless you want to run premium gas, many of the flat top pistons will increase compression. Dished pistons tend to keep compression closer to stock levels.
