Default Tranny Fluid

Hey, just got a general transmission fluid question. This is not from my truck, but actually my daily driver, a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix. I think this fluid is a little burnt and ready to be changed. Do you all agree? Any thoughts? I'm trying to learn more about reading tranny fluid, and the people on this forum are quite knowledgable!

Does it smell burnt? If the black areas are from the fluid and not just random oil, then yes, that looks like it is ready to be changed.

Yeah, that's from the fluid, checked it several times to confirm. Thanks!
