Default moving transfer case

So I was driving, and noticed that when I acclerated my t case shifter moves back toward me

I put my hand on it and acclerated and i can feel the weight of whole t case lurching upward. Its not just trying to pop out of gear.

Trans mount bushing I suppose? Mine seems pretty shot.

But you checked this back in May....?

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3166355-post33.html

Tranny mount is on crossmember. Skid plate bolts to crossmember and to separate spot on frame rail. Just clarifying....

Mine had some movement...but don't recall how much.

Yea yes technically haha my bad

I checked it back in May. Probably should have replaced it then but I had to get the truck back together.

I ordered this off summit.

No one else has any suggestions on other possible causes?

Link to the mount as for whatever reason your mobile link did not get auto-hyper'ed

I don't think that would the cause of the shaking, but it certainly won't hurt. You happen to check all the bolts to it for tightness? You did swap the tcase, which would have needed you to loosen up at least.

What is the amount of shaking we talking about anyways? Video it dude!

That's weird..... but, the shifter is mounted to the body, isn't it? Or is it mounted to the trans????

Think I would be checking the rear mount, and also the bolts that hold the t-case to the trans......

The motion looks normal to me.

The shifter is mounted to the body. The linkage is connects to the shifter and then tranny tab. That is how on the 00 at least and presumably on the 01. Different on other years...?
