Fitting size on transmission?

Well I'm trying to remove my cooler lines from my trans.
They are rusted on pretty good. I have the lines one goes from the tranny to the radiator and the other goes to the aux cooler.
I have the new lines but the old ones wont come out. I was just wondering if anyone new what the thread was on the adapter fitting that mounts into the tranny.
The steel line i'm replacing appears to be a double flare.
I just like to have all my parts in hand before I break the old ones off.

PB Blaster is your friend. Drown the fittings a couple times over a couple days before you actually try and take them apart. For some, you need the 'special tool' for the couplers.

Yeah been soaking them with aerokroil for 4 days now. the whole fitting is turning out. which means the tube is rusted into the fitting. I just would like to have all parts on hand so My truck isn't taking up the entire garage, while I wait for a replacement.
I have the ac line disconnects for the other end already

The fitting that goes in the trans is a pipe fitting if i recall. Not sure what size. I had the same issue with a spare motor/trans i bought. Had to cut the rubber part of the hose to remove the fitting out of the trans.

Just so no one makes any mistakes here you can't just run down to Lowes to get the correct fitting. The fitting from Mopar is a tapered fitting and if you try to use a regular fitting from Lowes, Home Depot or other places it can break the transmission housing.

Don't ask me how I know!!!!! It was costly............................................ .............

Pipe thread, are they not? No, you can't run 'em in tight. Just snug. :)

They are npt. Mine snapped off when I tried to remove it so I extracted it and got a new fitting at the hardware store. Mine is different though.
