Default ODB1 Code Flashes Twice? 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L 360Ci 4x4

Is it a fault or what does it mean? I checked my codes and lately I only been getting code 12,37,55 now I have codes 12,45,37,37,55 I know Code 12 is battery which is normal and 55 is the end code but why did 37 flash twice?

Looks like you have some transmission issues going on. Why it flashed twice? Who knows. Maybe it's really bad and wants to make sure you know there is a problem. Or you misread the flashes.

That's the problem I shouldn't have any Transmission problem I overhauled the transmission less the 30 miles ago before my truck started stalling out Completley. It fires up low idles in drive then stalls but code 37 was the only code for about a month now that popped up not it shows up twice and the other codes too I'm lost I've replaced everything

Did you replace all the solenoids/sensors in the trans? Check your connections and do some voltage checks. It doesn't mean you have a bad transmission. The pcm is detecting some issues with the inputs/sensors

45: Governor pressure solenoid control circuit

37: Trans temp sensor too high or low

45 is trans overdrive circuit. 37 is TCC circuit, or trans temp. (he doesn't have a governor pressure sensor, or solenoid, he has a 46RH trans.)

Given those two codes, think I would verify you are getting power down to the trans, from the transmission control relay.

The Overdrive male connector was dirty and exposed but would y'all know what the connector on top driver side of transfer case is ? And what it does and as far as solenoids replace goes I'm not sure the guy who worked on it did a full overhaul I paid nearly 2500 for it in the end I had two mechanics work on it and on got 15 miles on it before the stalling and rough idle started now it idles in park /Neutral at 900-1000 rpm and in drive / reverse is 800-700 rpm but it has just stalled out right after the shaking and smell of fuel so I'm thinking Fuel pump or Evap Canister ?

Toward the front, or back of the t-case? In front, it's just vacuum lines to operate the cad, on the tailshaft housing is the vehicle speed sensor.

Think I would have a chat with the folks that worked on your trans, it *should* have some sort of warranty.

Was the crank sensor replaced before, or after, the trans work was done?

I too have the extra connector hanging there. Not all trucks came with the temp sensor so I would ignore code 37. It's probably just out of place a bit so it's closer to the transfer case. If your speedo works the vehicle speed sensor is hooked up.

Towards the tail end and I have a Trans temp wire hanging but nowhere to connect it and I've had the sensor replaced twice during putting on the Trans and once after the mechanic pinched it three times so I bought four I was there that time so I know it's good no problems with it and no warranty it was a friend of the family but my last resort I made sure my foreign order is correct in sparks , cleaned all connectors in engine made sure all were good the oil breather cap looked a little dirty and no leaks in fuel line so now I check the gas tank then fire her up and see how she goes I'll update here in a bit

I tried everything it would start idle in 800 rpm in park and then drop to 500-600 rpm in drive then after a couple of min die out I looked at fuel pump the roll over valve hose was off it so I put it back on but I believe the fuel filter has to be clogged or bad Evap canister the little hose next to map sensor on throttle body was clogged with bits of charcoal and I tool hoses of canister and nothing came out it's like no fuel is being sent so it starts in fumes then does but codes read just now are 12,37,37,55 idk if TCC will make it rough idle / low idle in park and stall after sitting a min or putting in drive and going a couple of feet
