a/c won't switch out of defrost, it's summer time in Florida-it's hell. NEED HELP ASa

I change out the little light bulbs in the a/c cluster. And now it won't come out of defrost when I turn the knob to vent. It worked before I changed out the bulbs. I don't know what I did or how to fix it! Any suggestions?

When was the last time you replaced your PCV valve?

Check the vac lines going to and coming from it. Sounds like the vac line from the engine compartment(no vac).

Pull the panel back off and inspect your work. Obviously you did something.

Not so sure. I've worked on old vehicles long enough to know that a symptom that shows up after I've done something may or may not be related to what I just did. I have lots of stories of things that showed up, seemed to be caused by something else I did, but was completely unrelated in the end.

The vents are all vacuum powered. Pulling the control head, you may have broken one, or more. Need to check, and make sure.
