Default 99 ram 1500 5.2 4x4 no bus signal

any help would be appreciated. I've changed the pcm and traced a majority of the wiring user the dash and under the hood with no luck. All gauges are dead and leading up to this the truck was a pain to start (regretfully used quick start a few times on it) I'm completely stumped as to what the issue is

If the gauges are dead i'm wondering if the pcm has power getting to it. What about the idiot lights, do they come on? Does it charge the fuel system when you first turn the key?

Press, and hold, the trip reset button while turning the ignition to On. (not start) See if the cluster will go thru its self test.

The cluster does go through its self test and the idiot lights do come on swell with the ignition in the on position. As for the fuel pump it doesn't prime at all unless I jump the relay but the engine still won't fire

Fuel pump not priming indicates a PCM problem. Can you plug a scanner into it, and actually chat with the PCM?

sounds like your pcm isn't getting a power supply, check any of your sensors to see if you have 5 volts..your pcm is definatly not communicating!

Ok so I hooked up a code reader and it's getting no signal from the computer. Where do I start looking now?

Start checking power feeds to the PCM. If you don't have one already, you can get a service manual from here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W.

I'll check that out. Stupid question but would there be a blown fuse for this power issue?
