Default 1999 sport headlight swap 2 bulbs to 1

Ok, I got tired of the yellowed lens covers on the 1999 sport quad 4x4. I found some replacement headlights only from carports.com and they said they were for a sport. It also says they are not for a sport which I realized when I see they have only one bulb instead of two. The bulb is the outside bulb. So I have one plug to the inside bulb I am not using. I understand the 1999 sport used a high/low beam on the interior bulb and a high beam only on the outer one. Can I move the high low to the outer and make this work? Or can I make this work at all. I found a plug that take two plugs and makes them one. Would that work with the right bulb?

Have you already bought the? I would search for some replacement sport headlights with the 2 bulbs. You will lose a LOT of light going to the non sport style. The single bulbs suck.

here ya go

Thanks - yea, I bought them and had to hack them to get them in. Never even noticed the one bulb instead of two. Company offered me $12 rebate so I could reorder the right ones and take the $50 hit. I ordered the plugs that convert two plugs to one. Figured this would push the voltage to the low beam. High beam seems OK, but low beam is dim. I thought if I put in a dual beam bulb I would be OK. May have to eat this.

Can always buy the right ones and sell the other ones at a reduced price to someone on here or the like. Lots of old yellow lenses driving around and you would get most of your money back.
