Default Best place to purchase a replacement PCM?

So I've been trying to solve an issue with my '01 Ram and I believe I've narrowed it down to a bad PCM (that saga is in another thread). Now I just need to figure out the best place to purchase the part.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase/sellers to look for/sellers to avoid? I see I can purchase them through places like Advance Auto or O'Reilly's, but I worry that the sales guy punching buttons on the keyboard isn't going to order the correct part.

Any input is much appreciated!

Order one from your local parts store. They should ask you for your vin number as well. That way, if there is a problem, you can actually go back and talk to someone in person...

There is a place here in Grand Prairie, tx called AutoECM. they are a very reputable rebuilder of pcms and have a great warranty program. i have had them do 3 for me and had a turn around in less than 4 days. They will tell you exactly what had to be done to yours to repair it.

You can probably get one on Ebay. There is a code on the front of your PCM, you would need to buy one with the same code.
