Oil Leak, Oh No

1 Attachment(s)
Six months ago I did the timing set in my 318 (Mopar double roller & Mopar tensioner plate). Bran new fel-pro seals and gaskets. Water pump and bolts were already new. It came out great, no probs. Today I walk in the garage and see a spot of oil under my truck. Now I'm like wth because my truck leaks nothing! As you can see here the front cover seal (red) has decided to work its way out some and thus a small amount of oil is dripping out and left a quarter size oil spot on the ground. Now my question is, any easy fix to this or does it all have to come apart again? :icon_doh::mad:

Looks like the seal is cockeyed u should just be able to pull the lower pully and install new seal put some grease on it and tap it in

I'd put some silicone on it over grease.

Grease goes on the sealing surface to the balancer. NOTHING goes on the surface that is pressed into the cover. Make sure it's nice and squeaky clean when it goes in there too.

Alright cool. Got a new seal on order and I'll be doin it this weekend.

Ok let me clarify after you tap the seal in apply grease on the crankshaft so the pully
Won't cut tear scratch or nick the sealing area
