46re overheats and no 3rd or 4th

2001 ram 1500 4x4 5.9

Im looking for someone who knows their chrysler transmissions...
My 46re has been completely rebuilt, but it has no pressure at the front servo. It also struggles to go into 3rd and 4th and will overheat in about 10minutes of driving. I went through and cleaned the valve body and replaced the front servo rings yesterday, however, nothing has changed.

The stock check valve has been deleted and an aftermarket cooler has been added.

Get rid of the check valve altogether.

Various parts only get pressure when the trans is NOT in park.

Did the electronics in the trans get replaced during the rebuild? Who did the rebuild? How long ago? If its recent, any warranty on the trans? Taking it apart may void it, if you have one.....

I meant to say the check valve has been deleted. I rebuilt it myself and hasn't been right since... or before.. When I first tore into it, the front band friction material had completely disintegrated and was in the bottom of the pan.

The gov pressure sensor and gov solenoid were replaced about 3,000 miles before the transmission went out originally.

The front servo would not get pressure in reverse or 3/4(on a lift).

You didn't rebuild it with ford parts, did you?

Just sayin'

Well, stepped beyond my knowledge of autos..... :)

Wonder if a valve is stuck somewhere??

My only thought is are the bands adjusted?

(I mean, besides the snarky ford comment)

Yes, the bands are adjusted correctly.

Overheating

Is coolant flowing thru the radiator cooler?

Any results on this?
