Rear Dana 60 drum to Dana 60 disc brake swap
I've finally found a nice Dana 60 disc brake rear out of a 2001 Ram 2500 4x2 truck with 4.10 gears and a limited slip unit. I've wanted to upgrade to 4.10 gears for some time, now that I'm running taller tires (285/75/16) on my truck. This appears to be a pretty straight forward swap, as my truck (1996 Ram 2500 4x4) already has a Dana 60 3.54 rear in it already. Just want to gain the rear disc brakes and the 4.10 gears. I know I'm going to have to add 4.10 gears onto my front Dana 60 and I'm preparing for that now.
As for the Dana 60 rear swap, is there anything else I need to consider? Does my master cylinder need to change? I'm assuming that the 2001 Dana 60 will have a tone ring in it and will still allow for my rear ABS to continue working properly. Thoughts?

Pretty much. Wittrans.com has a nice little chart to point you at the correct gear for your combination.
