Ram 1500 lift coils

What lift coils are people using for 2nd gen 4WD 1500's? I doesn't seem that to many people make them for the 1500 besides skyjacker, and Dodge Off Road. I don't know what DOR is using. I was told they are synergy springs but synergy tells me they don't offer them for a 1500 2nd gen. Anyone have any info? Are they just the 2500 springs? Thanks

Probably not. The lift companies generally make their own springs, or contract it out to someone else. (china) They aren't as stiff as the 2500 springs..... and you only get 1.5 to 2 inches from 2500 springs.

Check out Top Guns Customz as well. They sell a variety of manufacturers, so, should be able to find what you are looking for.

How much lift are ya lookin' for?

Well, I have an off road edition ram so its up a bit from the factory, about 1.5 up front and 2.5 rear (est). What attracted me to DOR is they advertise that their springs give a 1500 about 4" of lift. That's almost a 2.5 inch lift from what I have now. I would be happy with that and getting the truck level. I wouldn't go any higher than 5".

That much lift is going to complicate matters... On the non-off-road trucks, anything over three requires modifications to the track bar, and pitman arm, and also longer control arms. Given that your truck is already higher, I would think its a good bet that the limits for 'easy' lift are also that much smaller..... Now, given that thought, If they have 4 inch springs for a NON-off-road truck, it is still probably going to require additional mods, to make it right.

I run a snow plow on my 1500, I bought 3500 springs its a tough ride everyday without the plow, think about it.
