2000 dodge ram 1500 park light help
 

I have an issue with my park light and signal light on the front drivers side. If I have my head lights on my front drivers side park light doesnt work and my siginal indicator light on my dash stays on and there is a clicking noise under the hood, but once I turn the headlights off the signal indicator light goes off and the clicking stops. Any ideas what it could be?

I think your bulbs are in the wrong way, wrong bulbs or wiring issue. Start by pulling that bulb, see if things work normally (except for the missing bulb, of course).

OK, I switched the entire parklight housing and it still does it. Here is a video I made of my issue

Changed the housing? Or changed the housing and wiring? Take your bulb out, give it a half-turn, put it back it. Try it again. Either your wiring is messed up or your bulb is in backwards. They are keyed so as not to be able to insert it the wrong way, but it can be forced. Or, the wiring is screwed up from a previous repair. I assume this just started though? Did you take the bulb out and try it yet?

yes i took the bulb out and tried it but its the same and its been like this for about 3 months now

Hhhmmmmm, messed with the wiring lately? Mice chewing? Inspect the wires a bit. If not, it might be your turn signal switch on the column.

Just for grins, pull the rear taillight bulb too, try it. (Left side).
