Default 5.9 gas just started ticking

The pcv valve sometimes rattles and now it has a tick. Im unable to locate where the tick is coming from. I'm thinking its a lifter stuck? The tick just started yesterday.

Please let me know what you all think.

Just take it off, and run the engine for a little bit, see if the noise is gone. Don't run it that way very long though..... no water pump or alt. without the belt.

I'm also going to check for a exhaust leak around the manifolds.
