Default All of a sudden bad/rough idle (video included)

Hi all, new member from Sweden!

So got myself a ram gen 2 1999 with a 5.9 litre magnum. Was running perfect when i got it, now 1500km later its starting to run bad on idle / highway cruises.

First thing i did when i got the truck was complete tuneup, changed all the oils in driveline and also changed both o2 sensors and IAC sensor. Did a complete cleanup of the throttle body, there was NO oil in the plenum. Drove it like this for some months. Last weekend i took it for a 700km drive.

After a few km the check engine light flashed after the engine got abit hesitant for a second or two. The exact same problem came back few times on the trip. When i got home i checked the code and it said P0308 and p0132 (missfire on 8th cyl) and (o2 sensor circuit high voltage (bank 1 sensor 1)

Now the idle is bad when engine is warm. (see video) no ide why the sound got all messed up.

Any ideas what may cause this?

What brand O2 sensor did you install? These trucks don't like the bosch fellers.....

Welcome to DF!

Entirely possible. Our trucks really don't care for some of the aftermarket sensors. Go with NTK, or Denso O2 sensors. They are more expensive, but, they actually work right.

Just ordered mopar sensors.

Was at the garaget today and reinstalled the original sensors, truck will now run on idle but throws a code (p0132) Hopefuly the mopar sensors will fix this.
Ill update when they arrive, problem with living in sweden is the 2-3 week order time from US.
