46RE overdrive trans overheat

I have changed all the electric components in the transmission, removed the check valve at the rad and still get an overdrive shut off than trans temp light. The truck showed a p1740 but it has not turned up since I rebuilt the valve body. Flow of fluid seem slow and I can’t figure out why. I put 150 psi through the rad. My next thought is to drive it with overdrive off and see if it overheats. No new codes have presented themselves.
Thinking the overdrive or torque converter is fubar. Any Ideas beside the solenoids or fluid and filter change. They have both been done and I rebuilt the entire valve body.

Please add your vehicle info so this can be moved to the correct technical section. Otherwise we cannot help.

If you checked for flow in park, you aren't going to get much..... Try it in neutral. (block the wheels please.)

Where did you get your electronics from? Your symptoms sound for all the world like the wrong Governor pressure sensor. (fluid temp sensor is in there as well.)

Everything came from a transmission shop Rosta prefomance governor pressure sensor, Borg and Warner TCC solenoid. And the sensor was replaced. I am not getting much flow from neutral or park. I pulled the check valve from the transmission line. Looks like my first step is to try and pull the lines from the transmission and try forcing air through them.

Careful with that. The system really isn't designed for a lot of pressure.... don't wanna blow up the heat exchanger in the radiator.

Thanks. I will keep it conservative. I might take the lines off at both ends. Air was going through the rad.

Flow of fluid seem slow
You might want to check pressures and see if they are in spec.
