Default fuel pump brands

Any difference in aftermarket fuel pump brands? Airtex goes for half the price of Denso. Delphi, carter and spectra are in between. Highest I've seen is around $210 and lowest around $100.

Don't buy Airtex unless you like changing fuel pumps. They fail after a year, or less. Denso, or Delphi are original equipment. Buy one of those. Carter? Not sure..... they used to make good stuff, I don't know today...

cmmkenna (I think that's his user name) did a nice write up, as usual, about this topic. If I'm not mistaken, he ended up going with a OE dodge pump.

I've heard that airtex isn't too reliable and carter was a stock one at one point but going with either Denso or Delphi. Denso is at 200 and Delphi around 160. Is it worth $200? They're all on rockauto if anyone is interested in comparing. Thanks for the responses guys!

The denso or delphi units will last another hundred thousand miles or so. That makes it 'worth it' in my book.

Oh i agree but meant is it worth paying the $40 or so extra if they're both reliable.
