Default ECT Engine Coolant Temp Sensor

I am getting the ODB II PO 118 Code which translates to High Voltage Input. My question is can I test the circuit and or the Sensor to determine if it's a wiring issue or the sensor itself? If so could you provide some guidance Please?

Default Update on ECT SENSOR ISSUE.

Ok THIS IS WHERE I'M AT CURRENTLY AND AM OUT OF IDEAS. 96 Ram 1500 5.9L gas. I have replaced IAC, TPS, MAP and ECT sensors. New Dist w/ cap an rotor and plugs and wires. New fuel injectors, new fuel pump. I am no longer getting OBD codes other than the persistent P1752 which is next on the list after i get the engine to idle smoothly. Currently when starting cold engine runs ok, wants to idle about 4-700 but usually dies. Revs up fine and seems ok until thermostat opens then all Hell brakes loose. Very rough running almost sounds like mis fire but no codes? Runs very rough throughout the RPM range up to 5000 Rpm. No power on take off, oil consumption, poor fuel mileage. All after engine warms up. I am out of ideas. Can u help?
