Default CPS Test Off Vehicle

Finally got the transmission back in the truck and exhaust tightened up. Went to start it and got about a 1-2 seconds run then nothing after that, just cranks over. Went for the CPS and doing a bench test off the vehicle. From the test in my multi meter book, it tests good. Haven't seen this test before so want someone to verify it will work this way. Here is a link to YouTube video; It'd be good if someone has a known bad one and a known good one to do this test. Update 06/22/18: It may test good but, I installed it back on the truck and it ran for about 30 seconds then stopped and no crank again. Bought a Mopar CPS and so far so good.

Update New Video:

That test is ok, but, you shouldn't have to touch the sensor to get signal. (or make it go away, as in this case.) It's a hall affect switch, metal passing near it should trigger it.

You are correct, it would set the signal off/on with the screwdriver above the sensor also. Thanks for the help/verification.
