Default p0601 no start when hot

I have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 5.9 gas and it starts up fine and drives and starts short distance fine under 5 mins. If I drive over 5 mins and shut it off it wont start for atleast 2-3 hours it just cranks. Then soon as it is cooled down fires up like no problem. I do have a code for p0601 something to do with ecm, do I need a new computer to fix this? Can I have ecm thats in truck reflashed? also replaced crank sensor

I replaced the one on my 04, because it was adamant the front o2 sensor wasn't working - and I couldn't pass inspection with the warning light on.

If the 2nd gens are like the 3rd gens, there is a sticker on it with numbers - you want to match the numbers, then have someone flash it to your configuration. I bought mine from ebay for like $40 shipped, then had the dealer program it for $75. Or you could ship it off to be repaired and flashed to your configuration for a bit more.
