5in Rough Country Lift Rear Questions
Ok guys I got a complete 5in suspension lift for my 01 2500 with dual steering stabilizers for FREE!! Now the directions are very vague. It came with lift blocks do I put them on top of my factory blocks? I don't see any other way. Also is it possible to flip the u bolts so the nuts are on top?

I think you want the additional blocks under the stock blocks, as the stock blocks have the bump stops...... lowering those isn't a real good idea.
I know its possible to flip the u-bolts, folks have done it, I *think* there is a thread around here somewhere??? Not sure on that one. |

Might consider doing a shackle flip. Its easy, gets you a fair bit of lift without changing anything else, and has the added bonus of making the truck ride better. :D

I thought about that but "supposedly" the best one is from Dodge Off Road and I'm not spending $500 some dollars for a shackle flip loo

Yeah, I hear ya on that one. Alternative would be to simply cut your current spring hangars off, flip them over, (and maybe swap 'em side to side....) drill new holes, and remount. Only cost would be the bolts to put 'em back onto the frame.
