You can rent a noid light from your local parts store. It plugs in to the injector connector, and will tell you if you are getting injector pulse.

I wonder though, on your truck, you have two temp sensors. The one wire sensor is for the gauge in the dash, the two wire sensor, the one that's fun to get to..... is for the PCM. If it isn't hooked up, pcm will think it is REALLY cold out, and DUMP gas into the cylinders..... And if it isn't REALLY cold out, it floods the engine in short order.

You need three things for it to run, fuel and air, in the correct proportions, and spark. You have fuel, you have spark, so I am betting it has to do with how much gas you are getting.......

Also, what plugs ya got in there?

Is the distributor properly aligned with Cylinder #1? Is the cam sensor connected to the harness?

Well, you are getting gas, so, the cam sensor is going its job, you are getting spark, so the crank sensor is doing its job. I would recheck the two-wire temp sensor, make sure things are copacetic there. If they are, I would plug in with a scan tool, and see what the PCM thinks is going on. (starting with engine temp.)

Are you sure the spark you're getting is strong? If the spark looks orange and not making a good snap sound, it may be giving you problems.
