Stalling Issues

Ok lets start from the beginning, i have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4 x 4 5.2L with 167k miles. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel pump connector, water pump, and fan clutch.
It ran fine until about 5 months ago it started the whole "No Bus," issue. I replaced the crank position sensor today (longest 3 hours ever) and drove it about 8 miles and it stalled again everything shut down then went back up and i put it in neutral coasted and it cranked right up. I am asking the Gurus here what needs to replaced next, also it idles about 600-650rpm in drive when i stop.

Idle is normal.

You have a failing sensor on the five volt bus. Unfortunately, that's all of them.... which one is causing the problem is gonna be fun to figger out. Try unplugging the O2 sensor, and see if anything changes. (yes, that will set codes.) Make sure you get all of them. 2 on federal emissions trucks, and three or four on California Emissions trucks.

Thanks

I will get on it tomorrow for sure

Update

I disconnected 02 sensors got CEL as expected, does not stall as much, butt when it does, if I let off the gas and push down again it stops it from stalling.

Clean the throttle body. Pull it off the engine, remove the IAC motor, and then clean all the passages REALLY well. Leave the battery disconnected while you play. When you have it back together, turn the key to "On", count to ten, (don't touch anything) then start the engine. Let the computer relearn how to idle the engine.

Makes sense

I also have a new IAC to put in it as well, I am hoping that will help it too.

If it isn't a genuine mopar IAC, try the original first. I have had bad luck with aftermarket units... they react too slowly, and I was stalling once in a while. Annoying, at best.

Iac

I have a Mopar replacement part i got from Rock Auto, so it should be good.

Update

So i replaced IAC, plugs, wires a week ago, and it has run great, but today she stalls out at a light in town. Once i got towed home i decided to replace cap, rotor, and pickup coil. I really hope this solves the problem, It is driving me crazy. Oh by the way i put it on a computer and the timing was going from 10 deg advance to 20 and back down not steady at all.
