Rear Differential vibration friction reducer additive?

Has anyone used friction reducer additive in their rear differential on 2nd Gen Ram 1500 4x4's to eliminate slight vibration from rear differential when turning while taking off from stopped position? I have heard this works, so want to try it versus having a dealer charge me hundreds to check it out.

Never heard of it honestly. Only used friction additive for a LSD rear.

It probably does have an LSD rear, friction modifier would help if the clutches are what's causing the vibration.

Thanks, and I believe it does have LSD. When adding additive, do I need to drain and replace the existing fluid first, or just add the additive to existing fluid in differential?

If you haven't changed the gear oil in a while I would recommend draining it and adding new fluid.

This

I'd you just recently changed it, just add the additive to the gear oil.
