5.2L 46RE won't shift into third?

Hey all, I've been having a problem for quite some time now with my 46RE transmission. I have Reverse, 1st, and 2nd, but no 3rd; I've tried replacing the shift solenoid. My fluid looked good and smelled fine when I replaced that. But when I test drove it, the problem was still there.. It would shift into 2nd fine and I got up to about 30/MPH and then the speed would flat line about there and the RPMs would sky rocket and it wouldn't go into 3rd. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. 🙏

Last time it had the bands adjusted? Did you change the governor pressure sensor as well as the solenoid?

No, not yet. I have them and I'm going to replace them and see if it fixes it.
I'm not sure when the bands were adjusted last.

Unplug the 8 pin connector at the trans. Go for a drive. You won't have any automatic trans function at all, so, start in first, and shift as appropriate. (up and down.....) you won't get TCC or O/D either, so, just drive where you can use all three gears. If it shift into the gear you tell it to, when you tell it to, you still have an electronic problem. If it doesn't...... might be time for a rebuild.

I only have gears 1 and 2 that I can shift into manually, third gear isn't displayed in the instrument cluster for my truck.

Ok, I will take it for a quick drive when I get home.
Can low or high trans fluid levels mess with the trans?
