Well I thought I was out of the woods, but unfortunately am not. The next two days I went out and started the truck it went back to the 400 RPM idle and 4 calibration surges. I started thinking about maybe doing a carburetor conversion because I can't seem to get this issue solved.

Today I went out and did the disconnect/reconnect battery thing and the truck started up great, only did one little surge, but figured out idle right away and sat there around 700 RPM. So, besides disconnecting/reconnecting the battery every time I want to drive my truck, how do I get the PCM to stop defaulting to the low idle, IAC recalibration on startup? Is there a way to wipe the PCMs memory? The bidirectional scan tool I have is a Launch X-431

Apparently, the PCM is forgetting everything when the truck gets turned off anyway..... There should be a power feed to the PCM that is always hot. Might wanna check that, make sure that it IS always hot.
