?Who makes fiberglass Dodge step side truck beds?
I just wanted to ask this to see if anyone on here knows of a company that makes these. I am wanting to check on prices and research on them for my 96 Dodge Ram. I'm thinking of giveing it a modern Warlock look but Dodge quite makeing stepsides. I don't want to use a older stepside or a Chevy or Ford Stepside. I would think there would be a custom bed company out there that builds these for the Dodges. Well any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

RE: ?Who makes fiberglass Dodge step side truck beds?
This topic has come up before. Nobody was ever able to find one as far as I know. The only thing that was ever found was a picture of a Ram with a Chevy stepside on it. I attached them below. It doesn't look bad at all in my opinion.

Here are some more pics for you. Notice that the red one says RamSide on the side, which I read used a 1996 Chevrolet sportside box. Not sure who made them though, but there was supposedly more then one. I also read that a company called ProGlass Finish made stepside beds for Rams awhile back. Also, I read about a guy who was going to make one by taking a bed from a Ram dually and cutting out the inside to make it narrower. You could always try that.

Thanks guys I love that red one at the bottom thats the look I'm going for. It looks mean as hell I wonder if its a chevy bed also. My biggest concern would be finding ground effects with that kind of change a roll pan and airdam would be easy but how would you go about side skirts beings its a Ram cab and a chevy stepside bed I guess I would have to order one of each if they make them.

We're not fully finished, the posts days it's not done, but having a step is not what makes a step side. The fact of the bed being narrowed and how it steps in from the can is what makes it! This is a modern version as a tribute to the rarest truck ever made! The 78 midnight express! Being built in a modern version! With the other mods that are planned this will really being this legend back with a modern twist! You can follow us on Facebook, instagram and twitter. [QUOTE=5.9_MAGNUM_POWER;3372159]There is a whole “Ramside” truck for sale by Champaign IllinoisThe ram sides are just a Chevy bed with Dodge lights graphed in the bed! Was not appealing when they came out, they didn't go very far. The midnight has never been brought back in a modern version till now! The full history is on out Facebook page.

If it isn't the steps that make it a "Step" side..... why would they call it a step side?

FiberX I think the company is called used to make the Step side panels for our trucks (they still make wider fenders and bed panels) give them a call and see if they still have the molds. If you got $$$ to spend they will make you a custom mold for about $1500 plus the cost of the bed sides
