I'm FINALLY trading Upward and Onward!
 

Everyone,

I'm not the most active or wellknown around this here forum however, for those who DO know me, I will be trading in my 98 Ram 1500 tomorrow morning (12 SEP 06) for:

TA DA!!

2006 Ram 2500 Quad Cab, Long Bed, Cummins powered, Big Horn edition. Talk about style!

I'll post pics as soon as I can but I have one more important thing to take care of before I do that. Have to get over to the girlfriend/future Mrs. first and let her drive it, lest she decide I'm not worthy and assassinates me for it!

So, I'll be moving my tent over to the Diesel part of the Dodge Ram forums. Everyone in this here section, it's been fun and VERY informative!

Already started too. Went to Ebay and got a nice decal for the rear window. "Hey Ford Boy, Powerstroke this" You can guess what the cartoon is doing! Only seems fair to initiate myself into the world of the Ram Cummins Turbo Diesel!

I sort of have to let her drive it. She'll give me the guilt trip, sobby brown puppy dog eyes, etc. And if that doesn't work, she'll be witholding certain "benefits"!! Oh heck no. I can't imagine being put on restriction from THAT!!!

I was asking around this evening and I MIGHT have to go to Salt Lake City to get the rig. I'm really beginning to think that the local stealership is trying to jack me on the price. Only came down $1000 from the MSRP of $42,000.

Everything I'm reading points to a "reasonable" sale price in the neighborhood of $37,000. So it isn't a done deal yet.

If what I'm also noticing is true, West Valley Dodge in Salt Lake has 75 of the 2006 One Ton Rams INSTOCK! They're gonna have be wanting to deal to get rid of them. So looks like I'll be doing a road trip in the AM.

congrats on the switch... yeah based on our previous conversation the stealership is trying to squeeze you for every penny. shop around 1st and find a dealer who will let it go for the $37k your after.
