2500 springs on a 1500 4x4...

here is a link to a table that sorts out which spring is which... I did this mod and got 2.5" of lift in the front.

Id have to disagree with the 2500 coils. If it is a V8 2500 or a 2500LD very little or no lift will be gained

I think you only get the lift if you use coils from a 2500 V10 or 2500 Diesel. Ride would be pretty stiff I would think though. Also, the amount of lift would probably vary depending on how much the used coils you are swapping in have sagged.

you must not have had 3/4 ton coils then... when I did mine, I measured 2.5" of lift.

I would believe it if it was a V10 or diesel 2500 but the gassers dont provide that lift

I dont know what they came out of, the tag on them IIRC was indicating #023 on the list. all I can say though is my change in height was ~2.5" as measured at the top of the wheel well. The ride was definately stiffer.

uhhhhhhh yeah they do my 2500 is easily 2.5-3 inches higer in the front then my old 1500, both gassers, if you dont know what your talking about then dont make speculations.

Out of curiosity, are the rear leaf springs interchangeable as well? Or are they a different width and/or length?

no the rear leafs are wider, 3" vs 2.5" IIRC...
