5.2 L vs. 5.9 L
I just purchased a 2001 Dodge ram Lariat SLT 4x4 Off road manual 5 speed. It hasdual exhaust (FLOWMASTERS) . It also has a 5.2 Liter engine.. what is the difference bewtween a 5.2 L and 5.9 . Mine feels lik it has ALOT and i mean ALOT of get up and go. Maybe becuz its manual but i was just wondering cuz i heard the two engines are about the same but the 5.9 is the newer type of engine, defferent stuff..etc.cuz i beat a 5.9 L. like it was nothin the other day. Can someone tell me any differences? thanks

Alot of other factors very into that. I have 392 gearing with the 5.9 automatic, I would eat your 5 speed alive.
Driver ability, the way the truck runs etc...etc...
I had a 570 Yamaha Exciter snowmobile, andI would consistantly smokea triple800 Skidoo on the trails, not because the sled was faster, but because I had more ability than the Skidoo operator. We switched sleds andI would fly by them like the wind on the800.
And also your only 16 and your already "smokin people", I see a short driving career for you.
