I looked through the 2001 service manual from the XMAS tree thread, and all of the online sources I can find, but nobody gives instructions on how to replace the clutch for my air conditioner.

Does anybody know the process and what tools are needed? it's d**n hot here in Minensota right now without my AC.

The procedure is in section 24 and pages 13 through 17 of the 2001 manual.
